It's the easy way to make money from home. The vastness of the global Internet has turned the World into a mere village, with enormous opportunity to  make easy money fast. As I mentioned in a previous blog, the forex market or rather the forex markets are divided into four time zones and while forex traders in one or two zones trade and make money easy online , those in two other zones are sleeping and not making money at all.

There is no shame in being a Forex newbie, even the most seasoned traders had to learn the basics of  Forex, and only thereafter learned the forex trading strategies. So here are the basics to making money with Forex, :-  There are seven major currencies that are actively traded throughout the world and I've listed them in alphabetical order, the Australian dollar abbreviated as (AUD), the Canadian dollar abbreviated  as (CAD), the Swiss franc abbreviated as (CHF), the Euro abbreviated as (EUR),  the  British pound abbreviated as (GBP), the Japanese Yen abbreviated as (JPY)  and last but not least, the U.S. dollar abbreviated  as (USD).

As can be seen, each of these currencies has been given a  three-letter code which are used in Forex quotes  and are traded in pairs. For example, the U.S. dollar is paired with  the Japanese Yen as in (USD/JPY). The Euro is paired versus the U.S. dollar as in (EUR/USD).  The Australian dollar is paired versus the U.S. dollar as (AUD/USD), etc. A currency cannot be traded by itself and must be compared to another currency. The first currency quoted in the pair is known as the base currency and the second in the pair is known the counter (or “quote”) currency.
